Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between longing and resolve, captured through a palette of both deep blacks and soft blue hues. The sharp blacks represent the abyss of longing whereas pale blues suggest a serene resolve. The arrangement emphasizes a central collision of intense darkness against a subtle emerging calm, embodying a journey of repair after damage. Hard edges introduce a starkness to the flow, creating a border that feels both enclosing and yet inviting gaps where emotion leaks through, as suggested by the seed's theme. The broken pixels disrupt the structure, embodying imperfection but also the liberation of overflowing feelings.
