Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between restlessness and peace. The palette of red oxide, blackened plum, muted cream, iron gray, and small orange reflects the underlying heat of restlessness contrasted by the calm of muted hues. The central area is dense with warm colors to evoke restlessness and movement, while the edges utilize cooler tones and quieter fields, embodying peace. The main collision occurs in the center, signaling a struggle and coexistence of these emotions, represented through uneven pixel patterns. The pattern logic draws inspiration from the seed's themes of memory tied to motion, with broken pixels indicating interruption and imperfect memories, contributing to a narrative of unresolved tension.
