Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional contrast between panic and control. The dark colors (charcoal, burnt orange, dark red) represent chaos and underlying tension, while the gold hints at moments of clarity and resolution. The central bright spot is juxtaposed against a surround of darker, fragmented patterns, echoing the battle between order and chaos. The zigzag pattern creates an unruly sense of movement, evoking both anxiety and unexpected moments of joy. Broken pixels introduce imperfections, reflecting reality's unpredictability while maintaining a structured aesthetic.
