Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a juxtaposition of confusion and clarity, embodying the push and pull of contrasting feelings. The chosen palette of burnt orange, dark red, charcoal, and gold creates a warm yet unsettling landscape, encouraging a sense of tension. The top rows express confusion with a stair-like pattern that suggests disarray, while the bottom rows transition to a quieter, noise-like pattern symbolizing clarity. The main contrast occurs between the upper and lower sections, where the chaotic arrangement of colors in the top four rows collides with the more harmonic but still dense bottom rows, echoing the emotional narrative of pressure giving way to release, enhancing the interpretation of the seed in an abstract manner.
