Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a contrast between awe and terror. The palette combines depths of black and dark violet representing fear, against soft gold and pale green symbolizing fleeting hope. The arrangement follows a split layout, with the top rows presenting brighter, warmer tones which evoke feelings of awe, while the bottom rows employ darker hues that convey an underlying sense of terror. Collisions occur between the bright central pixels amidst the darker surroundings, suggesting an unstable relationship between light and dark, hope and fear. Broken pixels are incorporated to introduce imperfection, reflecting the notion of broken memory. This arrangement connects to the seed as it visually represents the push-pull dynamic between order and chaos, encapsulating the tension between these opposing emotions.
