Artist Statement
The emotional contrast of awe and terror is embodied through a palette that juxtaposes muted sepia and tan with a cooler, faded blue. The left side represents order with structured placements, while the right embodies chaos with disrupted patterns. This split-screen approach reflects the conflict within the seed, echoing tension between stability and fracture. Broken pixels introduce imperfection, emphasizing fragility within the imposed order. The overall composition aims to invoke reflection on the delicate balance of emotions—both uplifting and unsettling—while maintaining at least 10% negative space to foster breathing room.
