Artist Statement
This composition embodies the duality of vulnerability and strength. The use of dark violet represents strength, framing the piece and providing a strong contrast against the soft gold, which embodies vulnerability—revealing delicate breaks in the pattern. Broken pixels create an imperfection, suggesting a story of struggle and resilience. The vertical wave flow is expressed through the juxtaposition of colors and densities, allowing a collision between bold edges and gentle fields, reminiscent of a constellation in a dark sky subtly distorted by tides.
