Artist Statement
This artwork reflects the emotional dichotomy of restlessness and peace through contrasting patterns. The top half, imbued with deeper greens and gentle creams, illustrates a peaceful state characterized by a serene flow. The bottom half bursts with vibrant yet chaotic color patches, representing restlessness. The collision of these two areas evokes tension, with the main contrast happening between the wave-like movement in the upper section and the jagged edges of the lower. The use of broken pixels adds an imperfect quality that aligns with the themes of memory and motion, enhancing the interplay between stability and unease.
