Artist Statement
This piece captures the tension between longing and resolve, conveyed through a dynamic palette of warm and cool tones. The edges are defined by deep charcoal, providing a sturdy frame, while the inner grid of hot coral and blood orange oscillate with luminosity, representing the pulse of life and desire. Amidst this warmth exist interrupted patches of dust pink, offering moments of calm yet leading to a fragmented narrative, echoing the seed's themes of repair and damage.
