Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between loneliness and connection. The palette, composed of red, black, pale blue, and white, creates a stark contrast that mimics the push and pull of these feelings. The top-weighted design emphasizes a heavy top, symbolizing burdens carried by loneliness, while the lighter hues in the center represent the fragile hope of connection.
