Artist Statement
The artwork reflects the emotional tension between relief and dread, creating a dynamic interplay of dense clusters and open space. The palette comprises muted tones such as faded gold and storm gray to evoke feelings of anxiety and unease (dread), paired with the lighter hues of pale mint and soft sky to suggest moments of relief. The main contrast occurs at the center, where the dark colors collide with lighter open spaces, creating a visual echo of pressure dispersing into calmness, embodying the alternation between confinement and freedom. The broken pixels are scattered throughout the composition to symbolize imperfections and disruptions in the flow of emotions, giving a tangible sense of conflict based on the seed's themes.
