The emotional tone of awe versus terror is reflected in the bold juxtaposition of dark maroon and soft pink, illustrating the struggle between stability and chaos. The central wave motif suggests movement, while the surrounding areas exhibit a striped pattern (representing terror) contrasted with a checker pattern (representing awe). This layout creates a split-screen effect with both tension and release, using negative space to enhance the feelings of eruption from calmness into turbulence and vice versa.
