Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension between tenderness and rage through the juxtaposition of soothing soft colors against aggressive, sharp tones. The palette of dark red and pale blue represents the clash of emotions, where the red signifies rage radiating from the center while the blue brings moments of calm around it, creating a visual ripple effect. The strong contrast between the left side (rage, with a ripple pattern) and the right side (tenderness, with a split-screen pattern) displays a vibrant collision, echoing the seed's themes of inner turmoil and external calm. The broken pixels introduce imperfections, adding depth to the struggle depicted in the square.
