Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional tension between tenderness and rage, manifesting through a palette of deep reds, black, pale blue, and white. The core clash occurs in the center where sharp, saturated reds (representing rage) collide with gentler, muted blues and whites (representing tenderness). The layout features a dense cluster of dark hues against a quieter outer field, emphasizing the contrast between a chaotic inner space and a serene outer landscape. The randomness of broken pixels introduces a layer of imperfection and unpredictability, suggesting the emotional bleed that occurs in complex feelings like guilt and forgiveness, while the jarring edges enhance the feeling of interruption, coinciding with the structured chaos inspired by the seed.
