Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional dichotomy of control and surrender. The left side reflects control through a structured ripple pattern in cool blues and purples, suggesting containment and precision. The right side contrasts with a shattered, chaotic arrangement of warm yellows and oranges, indicating overflow and surrender. The collision happens at the center, where the colors intermingle, symbolizing the tension between these two states. The chosen palette fosters a dialogue between emotion and rhythm, with muted backgrounds allowing the vibrant accents to pulse out, echoing the themes of pressure and release from the seed.
