Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension between tenderness and rage through contrasting forms and colors. The palette features red and black to evoke rage, contrasted with softer blues and whites to suggest tenderness. The dense values collect on the left side, representing frustration and intensity, while lighter tones disperse to the right, suggesting release and calm. The collision occurs towards the center, where the densely packed elements diffuse into open spaces, illustrating the movement from pressure to relief. This aligns with the abstract narrative of conflict and resolution hinted by the seed.
