Artist Statement
This piece embodies the struggle between control and surrender through its color distribution and texture. The palette of pale aqua, mist gray, alarm red, ink blue, and clear white creates a landscape of serenity and urgency, suggesting pressure as the center overwhelms the softer colors around it. The main collision occurs near the center, where alarm red, representing urgency and pressure, meets the calm, expansive space of pale aqua, illustrating the emotional battle. Broken pixels add an intentional disruption to signify imperfections and struggle, allowing the viewer to contemplate the dynamic tension.
