Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the juxtaposition of fear and hope, expressed through a tension-filled composition. The selected palette of deep blacks, dark violets, soft gold, and pale greens evokes a contrast between oppressive darkness and a fragile glimmer of light. The pattern utilizes jagged edges to symbolize fear while incorporating soft, glowing accents to represent hope. The sharp vs. soft collision is prominently featured in the bottom weighted arrangement, where the darker hues dominate while small elements of light disrupt the density, akin to rain against broken dots.
