Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the tension between joy and grief through an asymmetrical rhythm that juxtaposes clusters of bright colors with muted tones to represent the emotional collision. The use of a warm palette of yellow and orange symbolizes joy, while the deep blue and muted purple evoke grief. The patterned grid suggests an orderly yet interrupted flow, embodying the pulse of complex feelings.
