Artist Statement
This artwork embodies a tension between vulnerability and strength through its color choices and placement. The palette consists of deep blacks for strength and soft pale blues for vulnerability, creating a visual push-and-pull. The dominant color in the center reflects the internal strength, contrasted by fragmented lighter patches reminiscent of vulnerability that hint at breaking edges. The collision occurs in the center where dark elements pulse against lighter disruptions, embodying the emotional struggle of exposure versus protection.
