Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the tension between loneliness and connection. The palette, composed of deep reds and soft pale blues, captures the struggle of warmth and solitude. The contrast lies primarily in the top four rows, which utilize a structured crosshatch pattern reflecting loneliness, while the bottom rows introduce a target pattern that signifies connection. The central cluster creates an intense collision; here, the colors burst outwards, symbolizing an urge to reach out, while the surrounding darker tones mingle in chaos, portraying the hidden weight of isolation.
