Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between desire and restraint. The palette of muted cream and red oxide creates a saturated pulse, encapsulating yearning, while the darker hues of blackened plum and iron gray establish a sense of containment and pressure. The pattern is designed with falling pixels, where brighter, warmer colors intrude upon cooler, muted tones, highlighting their conflict.
