Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the intense saturation of desire with the cool, muted tones of restraint. The chosen palette blends hot coral and blood orange to express desire, while charcoal and hollow blue provide a stark contrast. The main collision occurs in the center, where the lattice pattern reflects a gripping desire attempting to break through the sealed edges of restraint. Broken pixels disrupt this harmony, making the tension palpable, embodying moments of both hope and limitation.
