Artist Statement
This composition captures the tension between trust and suspicion through an interplay of structured patterns and chaotic interruptions. The palette, derived from 'broken_memory,' evokes muted warmth with sepia and tan, contrasting sharply with the cooler, fragmented tones of dust_gray and faded_blue. The vertical split symbolizes the threshold between the two emotions, where one side embodies trust with a softer halo pattern, while the other, representing suspicion, is defined by an ash field texture with broken pixels. This deliberate imperfection creates a visual narrative of resilience amidst fragility, accentuated by a few stark fragmentations that punctuate the surface, inviting contemplation upon the duality of human emotion.
