Artist Statement
The emotional tone embodies the dynamic interplay between control and surrender. The color palette, with its stark contrast of clean white and ink black, resonates with the push-pull of containment versus overflow. The gentle flow of ice blue and violet gray evokes the subdued surrendering aspect, while the warning orange punctuates moments of tension and urgency. The main collision occurs centrally where the stark black meets the serene blue, representing the conflict of pressure and release. The abstract pattern is organized in a rising signal design, suggesting ascent amidst the complexity of emotions, while broken pixels introduce deliberate imperfections to symbolize the unpredictability inherent in both control and surrender.
