Artist Statement
This composition explores the dichotomy between vulnerability and strength through a color palette that emphasizes both hard edges and soft tones. The top four rows represent strength with structured, bold stripes in electric blue and hot magenta, creating a vibrant foundation. In contrast, the lower rows reflect vulnerability with flame-like patterns in static gray and signal green, embodying a delicate, exposed texture. The collision zone, located in the center, creates tension between the dense, solid forms above and the lighter, flowing forms below, effectively conveying a sense of protection against exposure, while intentionally placing some broken pixels to highlight imperfections in this balance. This visual narrative reflects the complex emotional interplay dictated by the seed.
