Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional dichotomy of clarity (signal) versus chaos (noise) using contrasting colors. The palette—comprised of vibrant greens and blues alongside muted blacks and grays—reflects the tension between a bright pulse and a surrounding static interference. The collision occurs primarily in the center where the vibrant greens encounter deep blacks, signifying conflict and struggle within the organized chaos of the piece, reminiscent of the complex nature of memory and echoes. The ladder shape manifests as an abstract concept of reaching upward, yet it grapples with the surrounding noise, creating a spiraling effect that leads the eyes inward, reflecting a journey into the center of one's thoughts.
