Artist Statement
This piece captures the tension between tenderness and rage through a juxtaposition of stark color contrasts and layered patterns. The palette of deep reds and soft blues reflects the internal conflict: rage is represented through harsh, angular patterns, while tenderness appears as soft, flowing bands. The center of the composition serves as the collision point where these two emotional currents meet, creating a sense of dynamic tension, with broken pixels emphasizing the chaos of the emotional struggle.
