Artist Statement
The emotional tone oscillates between dread and relief, exploring tension through color. A palette of pale mint and storm gray juxtaposes soft sky and faded gold creates a narrative tension: dark, heavy hues gather at one edge, symbolizing dread, while lighter shades punctuate a sense of release. The primary collision happens in the center, where dense clusters of storm gray interrupt the airy fields of pale mint, echoing the concept of pressure transforming into release. The broken pixels add intentional disruptions, embodying scars of past tension. This layout reflects a balance of chaos and order, embodying the duality present in the seed.
