Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional tension between longing and resolve. The palette consists of warm yellows and oranges, symbolizing the warmth of desire, contrasted with deep blues and muted purples that represent the weight of resolve. The main collision occurs in the center where the patterns of 'rain' and 'pulse marks' overlap, creating a dynamic space that suggests conflict and interplay between emotions. Broken pixels are used strategically to simulate the imperfections in this emotional landscape, while negative space allows for moments of reflection amidst the tension.
