Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional collision between envy and gratitude. The outer frame utilizes muted tones of gray and dark maroon to represent pressure and tension, while the inner core employs vibrant pink and red to signify bursts of emotional release and gratitude. The contrast is evident through the clean order of the inner pixels clashing against the chaotic broken disturbances in the outer rows. This layout reflects the journey from a sense of constrained emotion to explosive relics of feeling, articulating a complex narrative of release.
