Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tension between confusion and clarity through contrasting color placement and pattern design. The palette, dominated by burnt orange, dark red, and charcoal, evokes warmth and intensity while offering depth and shadow. The outer rows exhibit a thick outline of muted colors representing confusion, framing the inner 4x4 core of clear, bright dots symbolizing clarity. The design flows diagonally, capturing a sense of movement from the chaotic edges towards a centered calmness, echoing the seed's narrative of 'falling pixels' and 'teeth against broken dots'. The strategic placement of broken pixels introduces imperfection, aligning with the themes of uncertainty and structure within the abstract.
