Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tug-of-war between the feelings of envy and gratitude, encapsulated in the upward and downward motion of the pixels. The palette of burnt orange, dark red, charcoal, and gold invokes warmth but balances it with dark complexity, representing rich emotions. The primary contrast occurs between the warm central colors and the softer edges that create a sense of quietness while being surrounded by heavier tones.
