Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tension between clear, vibrant signals and chaotic, muted noise. I selected a palette of deep navy and dim cyan to symbolize the dominant 'signal' alongside black for the chaotic 'noise'—the bright white acts as a light that interrupts the dark areas and serves as a beacon within the noise. The layout of two small centers in a diagonal flow represents the pulsing of signals trying to converge or diverge amidst the static. Broken pixels are scattered to represent moments of interference or disruption, and the pattern creates a visual narrative of conflict yet harmony between the organized and disordered elements. The lack of perfect symmetry reflects the unpredictability of both memory and noise, creating an evocative abstract trap between reality and perception.
