Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional dichotomy of longing and resolution through an interplay of dark and muted tones contrasted with bright accents. The palette, featuring deeper hues like blackened plum and iron gray, evokes the weight of longing, while muted cream and small orange add a flicker of resolve. The main collision occurs in the bottom corner, where dense clusters of stacked patterns disrupt the calmness of the surrounding fields, generating a visual tension that embodies both urgency and control. Broken pixels sporadically introduce elements of imperfection, reinforcing the theme of repair amidst damage, echoing the narrative of resilience.
