Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between restlessness and peace through a dynamic interplay of dark and light colors. The chosen palette, 'lonely_signal', signifies isolation yet hints at connectivity, with navy representing deep currents of unrest contrasted by the calming effect of dim cyan. The main collision occurs centrally, where darker tones create a heavy presence, while lighter hues attempt to break through the center, suggesting both conflict and a yearning for balance. The layout of stacked bands showcases the subtle rise and fall of emotional intensity, while the broken pixels create intentional disruptions, enhancing the sense of unease and imperfection in the quest for peace.
