Artist Statement
This composition juxtaposes softness and severity, using a palette that oscillates between warm whites and deep blacks. The central collision lies within the core of the square where the lighter 'powder pink' and 'warm white' clash with the 'steel gray' and 'carbon black' in a rapid glitch pattern, while the severity of sharp crimson acts as punctuation. The layout, inspired by the concept of stacked bands, allows emotional strata to emerge, with denser areas of dark hues conveying weight at the bottom. Broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions that symbolize unresolved tensions, embodying the seed's emotional complexity as it morphs into an abstract narrative.
