Artist Statement
This artwork juxtaposes the emotional contrasts of pressure and quiet through an intentional arrangement of colors. The top half embodies pressure with darker hues like compressed red and dark navy, creating a dense focal point that pushes outward. Meanwhile, the bottom half presents a softer palette of off-white and faint peach, employing the 'scar' pattern to suggest tranquil spaces amid the intensity.
