Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a push and pull between restlessness and peace. I selected a palette that features a warm accent (yellow) juxtaposed against deep, cool colors (deep blue and muted purple) to evoke conflict. The main collision occurs in the central four pixels, where noise (restlessness) meets peace. The 'hook' shape is abstractly interpreted as intersecting dynamic lines that create tension while maintaining open spaces that reflect calm. The alternating patterns of noise and veil enhance the feeling of unresolved movement against tranquility.
