Artist Statement
The emotional tone navigates between longing (soft, separated edges) and resolve (strong, dark contrasts), using the palette evoking a technological yet organic feel. Electric Blue stands for resolve, providing a firm base through which calm Lime interrupts in waves, resembling ripples of longing. The collision occurs at the center of the square, where a grid-like structure of darker shades provides a solid ground against which bright accents pulse and change, reflecting imperfection and the struggle of repair vs. damage. The pattern integrates broken pixels to symbolize disruption, enhancing the sense of vulnerability amidst strength.
