Artist Statement
This composition reflects the tension between love and betrayal using contrasting colors: warm pinks and reds against the cool grays and dark maroon. The pattern is based on the idea of a central, elevated form (suggestive of hope or love) surrounded by chaotic elements representing betrayal. The use of irregular, broken patches mimics cracks and disruptions in relationships, creating a sense of both emptiness and fullness. The flow from bottom to top is illustrated through a gradient of intensity, leading to emotional peaks and valleys throughout.
