Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tone of restlessness versus peace through a deliberate dance of colors in tension. The palette combines black and dark violet as grounding hues, suggesting the depth of restlessness, contrasted with soft gold and pale green as symbols of fleeting peace and light. The main collision resides at the center, comprising dense clusters of dark hues accentuated by lighter fields that shimmer, illustrating the tension between a chaotic interior world and a hopeful exterior. Broken pixels and varied shapes create interruptions, ensuring the square feels alive and not tranquil—mirroring the seeds of memory and motion as they speak to the duality of human experience.
