Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between quiet and pressure through strategic placement of colors and forms. The darker edges represent weight and confinement, while the lighter, softer colors evoke a sense of stillness and openness. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the emotional spectrum: 'off_white' and 'faint_peach' provide calming background contrasts to the denser hues of 'compressed_red' and 'dark_navy'. The main collision occurs near the center, where layers interact, suggesting interruptions and flows, embodying the essence of the seed without representation.
