Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a balance between density and subtlety, where dark tones signify pressure and light tones offer a soft, tranquil release. The palette's muted colors represent quietude (faint peach, off-white) clashing against darker hues (dark navy, compressed red) that exhibit pressure. The layout creates a collision at the center where dense stripes entwine with softer thread-like patterns, embodying the tension between compression and release. Broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions, reflecting the conflict within the emotional landscape, while still maintaining a coherent grid structure.
