Artist Statement
The emotional tone shifts between trust and suspicion, with dark segments suggesting obfuscation and lighter hues representing clarity and hope. The palette of 'mourning_renewal' combines mourning black and deep blue with vibrant new leaf and pale yellow to create a visual tension that communicates the conflict of emotions—soft glows and patterned islands of suspicion contrast with rigid ladder-like structures of trust. The main collision occurs in the center where dense color fields interrupt each other, creating jagged patterns reminiscent of uncertainty while maintaining a flow that draws the eye inward, reflecting resilience amidst fragility.
