Artist Statement
This piece injects an emotional tone between loneliness and connection. The chosen palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green reflects echoes of isolation and faint warmth. The drama resides in the clashes of dark and light—a split between the solitude of deep colors versus the hopeful highlights of gold. This pattern unfolds diagonally from the top left, symbolizing connection attempting to invade the corners of loneliness, using broken pixels to signify imperfection and memory. The resulting arrangement allows a suggestion of both weight and lightness, leaving negative space to enhance feelings of emptiness woven through vibrant sparks.
