Artist Statement
This composition conveys the emotional tension between softness and severity. The palette of powder pink and sharp crimson creates a stark juxtaposition, representing softness and severity, while carbon black and steel gray provide grounding contrast. The arrangement features a central collision of colors, where two small emphatic clusters of color pulse against negative space, embodying the conflicts of light and dark, guilt and forgiveness. The intentional broken pixels act as disruptions, hinting at unresolved emotions within a structured frame.
