Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength. The palette, inspired by 'awe_terror', contrasts cold golds and deep teals with the void of black, creating a somber atmosphere punctuated by light. The dominant color, deep teal, represents a stable foundation, while the cold gold highlights the fragile, fleeting aspect of vulnerability. The layout uses a narrow negative space channel to suggest exposure against shelter. The collision point is subtle, located at the center where dense patterns of strength pulsate against lighter, softer edges of vulnerability. The broken pixels add intentional disruptions, symbolizing scars and imperfections in the emotional landscape, while ensuring the visual retains a readable structure.
