Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between quiet and pressure, portraying a dense cluster of darker hues on the left, gradually shifting to lighter, softer shades on the right. The palette of muted off-whites, greys, and a touch of compressed red creates a visual dialogue where the tension lies in the movement from a hard edge to a gentle fade. The arranged symmetry is disrupted by intentional 'broken pixels', representing moments of unexpected interruption, aligning with the seed’s themes of chaos within structure. The central column acts as a pivot, where pressure collides with quietude, illustrating the emotional journey from compression to release.
