Artist Statement
This piece embodies a tension between vulnerability and strength through contrasting colors and disrupted patterns. The palette incorporates deep blacks and dark violets which signify vulnerability, contrasted with the soft gold and pale green representing resilience. The collision happens at the center, where dense clusters of dark colors intermingle with lighter accents, symbolizing the precarious balance between exposure and protection. The pulsating rhythm invoked by the pressure band and stacking patterns reflects the ongoing struggle between connection and alienation, manifesting an emotional landscape filled with uncertainty yet accented by hope.
